High-quality 3-season blanket sleeping bag
Spring through to autumn is the best season for camping and caravanning. The 3-season sleeping bag "Biopod DownWool Subzero Comfort" is the perfect companion.
Grüezi bag sleeping bags offer the best sleeping comfort and functionality
Grüezi bag sleeping bags have won numerous awards for their excellent insulation and well-thought-out cuts.
- DownWool - the better down: Unlike conventional down, DownWool retains its insulating properties even at high humidity of up to 90%. This means that DownWool offers better thermal performance, even in cold, wet conditions.
- Wider temperature range: DownWool sleeping bags have a wider temperature range in which you feel comfortable. Wool balances out temperature fluctuations like a light natural air conditioner.
- Drier sleeping environment: The mix of 70% RDS-certified down and 30% wool from the Alps in DownWool sleeping bags creates a dry, balanced sleeping environment. Wool effectively wicks moisture away and keeps you warm even when damp.
- Best sleep quality: longer sleep, faster falling asleep and better sleep through the night, all thanks to the wool content in the DownWool insulation filling
- Well thought-out cut for optimal freedom of movement: The comfortable cut allows the body to assume a relaxed position and thus ensures a peaceful, restful sleep. Even in the mummy shape you can sleep more peacefully, as you can turn both on your side with your leg bent and inside the sleeping bag.
- Avoidance of cold bridges: Our slightly wider cut reduces unpleasant cold bridges caused by compressed insulation
- Lightweight and small pack size: ultra-light, robust and recycled materials save weight .
- OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification: Grüezi bag products are harmless to human health.
- Pillow compartment: If you slide a fleece jacket, for example, into the pillow compartment, the sleeping bag has a non-slip pillow.
- Adjustable hood with face baffle: The heat baffle adapts perfectly to the shape of the head. When it is cold, only a small hole in the face remains open, meaning there is less loss of temperature in the face.
- 3D thermal collar: Closes automatically in the zipper area so that no cold bridge is created in the zipper area.
- Drawstring pocket: To ensure that the drawstring on the warm collar does not get in the way, it is safely stored in a simple drawstring pocket.
- Inside & outside pocket: For valuables and things you prefer to have close to you.
- Two-way autolock zipper: The zipper can be opened and closed from any end and from inside and outside. Auto-lock prevents it from opening accidentally.
- White zipper: So that you can find the zipper more easily in the dark.
- Zipper with anti-snag zipper and sturdy webbing underneath: This makes the zipper even easier to operate without pinching the outer fabric.
- Zipper with lined zipper cover: so that heat cannot escape and no cold bridges are created.
- Chamber construction: H-chambers, V-shaped (on the top), pre-shaped foot area with several chambers
- Can be coupled: The sleeping bag can be connected to another “Biopod DownWool Subzero Comfort” sleeping bag to form a double sleeping bag (select the zipper version on the left and right so that they close together).
- Can be converted into a blanket: can be opened and used as a large blanket (160 cm wide).
- Scope of delivery: sleeping bag, compression bag, storage bag.

The special thing about this sleeping bag is its innovative insulation: In a DownWool sleeping bag, you immediately feel the large temperature comfort range in which you are neither too cold nor too warm. In addition, the insulation is naturally less sensitive to high levels of moisture.
This is achieved through the mechanical bond of 70% RDS-certified down and 30% wool from the Alps. This combination is patent pending and acts like a light and natural air conditioning system.
- Down: excellent insulation performance
- High-quality down insulates exceptionally well while being lightweight. However, down clumps together in high humidity (air, sweat, condensation) and loses its insulating properties. Grüezi bag solves this problem with the innovative DownWool insulation.
- Wool: effective moisture and temperature regulation
- Thanks to the addition of wool in DownWool, the down stays naturally drier and thus maintains its insulating effect. This is because wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture through its capillaries and release it back to the outside in measured amounts.
- DownWool remains insulating at humidity levels of up to 90%. The wool fibers stand up when wet and even increase the insulation loft by up to 30%, which further improves the sleeping bag's insulation.
- DownWool not only effectively regulates moisture, but also body temperature. Wool avoids cooling evaporation and retains its warming properties even when wet, something no other material can do. Wool naturally creates a comfortable, pleasant microclimate thanks to its unique climate-balancing properties.
- The body needs a lot of energy to regulate its temperature. Wool supports this process thanks to its excellent temperature-balancing properties.
- Wool also neutralizes unpleasant odors.
- The result: excellent insulation and a wide temperature range in which you feel comfortable and can sleep well. DownWool is also less sensitive to moisture. This makes DownWoo sleeping bags from Grüezi bag popular all-rounders.
- Grüezi bag is a CO2- neutral company
- Animal welfare: RDS-certified down (RDS CU 859743), mulesing-free sheep's wool from Europe

Wash
- The washing instructions are in the inside pocket of the sleeping bag.
- The sleeping bag can be washed with a down detergent at max. 30 °C/ 86 °F by hand or in the washing machine on the wool cycle. Please turn inside out, close the zipper, run an additional rinse cycle and do not use fabric softener.
- Remove the item from the machine, loosen it up a bit and spin it again at max. 600 revolutions.
Dry
- Tumble dry at max. 60 °C/ 140 °F and be sure to add 2-3 tennis balls to loosen it up.
- Please run the item through the dryer several times and after each dryer cycle, take it out of the machine, shake it well or loosen it up and let it cool down in between.
- The dryer must be set to a timer program to dry the down completely.
- If you don't use a dryer, you can put the sleeping bag on a clothes rack on sunny days and shake it frequently to allow air to get to the sleeping bag from above and below.
When is the drying process completed?
- If the item still does not have its original thickness, the drying processes must be repeated until the sleeping bag feels more filled than before.
- Depending on the water resistance of the outer material, the drying process can take different lengths of time (at least 2 days, depending on the dryer model).
- The down must be completely dry. If the sleeping bag is not dried and fluffed properly, there is a risk that the down feathers will clump together, which can irreparably damage the sleeping bag. You can tell that the product is completely dry because it feels fuller and thicker than before. Damp down can smell unpleasant, but this smell disappears once it is dried.
- Down sleeping bags should be dried in the dryer with tennis balls from time to time or after each tour to remove excess moisture.
- Sleeping bags must be stored open and dry in the storage bag.
- When packing into the compression bag, the sleeping bag must be stuffed with the foot part first, not rolled or folded.
- Airing a sleeping bag is better than washing it. DownWool sleeping bags rarely need to be washed, as wool itself has natural odor-inhibiting and dirt-repellent properties. If there is minor external dirt, we recommend gently cleaning the stain itself (see above). Greasy sleeping bags and those with large areas of dirt can be washed in the washing machine.
- Every sleeping bag needs a sleeping mat because the insulation is compressed towards the bottom of the sleeping bag and cannot store air and therefore heat. You can find more information about the right sleeping mat here.
