The robust, comfortable and moisture-resistant sleeping bag with protection against annoying insects and small animals!
The "Biopod Wool Survival" is a robust and moisture-resistant 3-season sleeping bag , ideal for outdoor adventurers who like to sleep without a tent, under a tarp, on boats, on lakes and river banks or in areas with high humidity. To ensure undisturbed sleep, the sleeping bag is equipped with foot ventilation including a mosquito net. In addition, a 3D mosquito dome can be attached to the hood to keep mosquitoes and other vermin away.
Grüezi bag sleeping bags offer the best sleeping comfort and functionality
Grüezi bag sleeping bags have won numerous awards for their excellent insulation and well-thought-out cuts.

- Dry, balanced sleeping climate even in very high humidity: Conventional sleeping bags only insulate when dry. AlmWolle, on the other hand, dries quickly, efficiently wicks moisture away and keeps you warm even when wet. This means that AlmWolle offers good insulation even in cold, wet weather or when the humidity is high.
- Wider temperature range: AlmWolle sleeping bags have a wider temperature range in which you feel comfortable. Wool balances out temperature fluctuations like a light natural air conditioning system.
- Best sleep quality: Longer sleep, falling asleep faster and sleeping through the night better - all this is possible thanks to the wool content in the insulation filling.
- Well thought-out cut for optimal freedom of movement: The comfortable cut allows the body to assume a relaxed position and thus ensures a peaceful, restful sleep. Even in the mummy shape you can sleep more peacefully, as you can turn both on your side with your leg bent and inside the sleeping bag.
- OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification: Grüezi bag products are harmless to human health.
- AlmWolle from Bavaria:  It is made in Bavaria from the wool of sheep from the Alps.
- The outer material: It is particularly robust and durable and has anti-slip strips on the underside. This prevents annoying slipping off the sleeping mat, even if the floor is not completely level.
- Ventilation in the foot area: A mosquito net is incorporated here so that no insects can crawl into the sleeping bag.
- 3D mosquito net: A mosquito net, which is included in the delivery, can be attached to the head area using a zipper. Perfect for regions with lots of insects.

Features

- Pillow compartment: If you slide a fleece jacket, for example, into the pillow compartment, the sleeping bag has a non-slip pillow.
- Adjustable hood with face baffle: The heat baffle adapts perfectly to the shape of the head. When it is cold, only a small hole in the face remains open, meaning there is less loss of temperature in the face.
- 3D mosquito net (removable): A 3D mosquito net has been integrated so that annoying mosquitoes, insects and bugs do not disturb you: The net is stretched over the head using three small round-arched rods, does not rest on the face thanks to the pop-up round arch and thus protects against the small uninvited guests. The net is stored in the integrated pocket on the pack sack.
- 3D thermal collar: It is pulled tight over the shoulders and prevents heat from escaping upwards from the sleeping bag. It also automatically seals the gap to the zipper when the zipper is closed.
- Drawstring pocket: To ensure that the drawstring on the warm collar does not get in the way, it is safely stored in a simple drawstring pocket.
- Inside & outside pocket: For valuables and things you prefer to have close to you.
- Two-way autolock zipper: The zipper can be opened and closed from any end and from inside and outside. Auto-lock prevents it from opening accidentally.
- Zipper with anti-snag zipper and sturdy webbing underneath: This makes the zipper even easier to operate without pinching the outer fabric.
- Zipper with lined zipper cover: So that heat cannot escape and no cold bridges are created.
- Foot ventilation system: The innovative zipper design allows your feet to be placed comfortably on the top of the sleeping bag and excess heat can escape.
- Additional foot ventilation:  A mosquito net is incorporated here so that no insects can crawl into the sleeping bag.
- Feater loops: A warming hip bag with heating element (Feater - The Feet Heater) can be installed additionally.
- Pre-shaped foot box: When lying down, there is enough space in the sleeping bag to point your toes.
- Anti-slip studs on the back: They prevent the sleeping bag from slipping.
- Particularly robust outer fabric: Suitable for bad weather conditions
- Construction: Layered construction
- Scope of delivery: sleeping bag, compression pack sack with integrated pocket for the mosquito net, storage bag, 3D mosquito net.

What is Almwolle?

The special thing about this sleeping bag is its innovative lavalan AlmWolle insulation. The insulation consists of a light wool fleece from sheep from the Alpine region: robust, natural, biodegradable and renewable.
Wool acts like a light and natural air conditioning system. In a wool sleeping bag, you immediately feel the large temperature comfort range in which you are neither too cold nor too warm. In addition, the insulation is naturally insensitive to very high levels of humidity, which means that a wool sleeping bag provides a natural, dry and balanced sleeping environment.

- Effective temperature and humidity regulation:  Wool balances out temperature fluctuations like a light, natural air conditioning system. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture and releases it to the outside in measured amounts. This natural regulation creates a warming or cooling effect without the cooling effect of evaporation.
- Insulates even in very high humidity: Wool wicks sweat away and retains its warming properties even when wet, something no other material can do. This means it insulates excellently even in very high humidity and offers high heat output in cold, wet weather.
- Dries very quickly: Wool insulation dries very quickly and can therefore be used directly on rivers, on boats, in the tropics even at over 100% humidity
- Neutralizes unpleasant odors: Wool has an antibacterial effect and thus balances out unpleasant odors in a natural way.
- Sleep quality: Longer sleep, falling asleep faster and sleeping through the night increases thanks to the wool filling.
- More sleep, more energy:  The body needs a lot of energy to regulate its temperature. Wool supports this process thanks to its excellent temperature-balancing properties.

The result: excellent insulation and a wide temperature range in which you feel comfortable and can sleep well. In addition, an AlmWolle sleeping bag is very resistant to moisture, which makes wool sleeping bags from Grüezi bag popular all-rounders in very humid areas.

Care

Wash
- The washing instructions are in the inside pocket of the sleeping bag.
- The sleeping bag can be washed with a wool detergent (without protease) at max. 30 °C/ 86 °F by hand or in the washing machine on the wool cycle. Please turn inside out, close the zipper, run an additional rinse cycle and do not use fabric softener.

Dry
On sunny days, the sleeping bag can be placed on a clothes rack so that air can reach the sleeping bag from above and below. Please allow the sleeping bag to dry out for a long time.

Tip

- When the sleeping bag is unpacked for the first time, it needs some time to fluff up. If you iron the sleeping bag loosely with a steam iron on the silk setting before using it for the first time, the wool will fluff up more quickly and it will then be able to regulate the climate better.
- All sleeping bags should be dried from time to time or after each tour to remove excess moisture.
- Sleeping bags must be stored open and dry in a storage bag. A discarded pillowcase can also be used as a storage bag.
- When packing into the compression bag, the sleeping bag must be stuffed with the foot part first, not rolled or folded.
- Airing a sleeping bag is better than washing it. Wool sleeping bags rarely need to be washed, as wool itself has natural odor-inhibiting and dirt-repellent properties. If there is minor external dirt, we recommend gently cleaning the stain itself (see above). Greasy sleeping bags and sleeping bags with large areas of dirt can be washed in the washing machine.
- Every sleeping bag needs a sleeping mat because the insulation is compressed towards the bottom of the sleeping bag and cannot store air and therefore heat. You can find more information about the right sleeping mat here .
