The knifes spine is ground to a precise angle designed to ensure each stroke of the FireSteel produces the maximum number of focussed sparks.
For left-handed use: the base of the blade, closest to the handle, creates sparks with equal effect.

Het Zweedse FireKnife heeft een lemmet van roestvrij Sandvik 12C27 staal.
De punt van het mes is zo geslepen dat het fijn genoeg is om splinters te verwijderen, en de rugzijde van het mes is onder de juiste hoek geslepen om perfect te functioneren met de ingebouwde Swedish FireSteel®.
Deze Swedish FireSteel® is duurzaam (3000 keer strijken), en werkt ook onder natte omstandigheden met een vonk van 2,980 C.
1) Verwijder beschermende verflaag met de rug van het mes.
2) Beweeg de scherpe hoek van de rugzijde van het mes met een gelijkmatige druk naar beneden langs de FireSteel®.
3) Met de vonken onsteek je gemakkelijk een brander, TinderDust, BBQ, papier, gras, berkenbast of welke andere tondel dan ook.
